The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) is encouraging individuals to use its online services portal for all fee payments related to licensing, renewals, and business entity registrations. The agency highlights that the online payment tool is accessible at any time, providing flexibility for users.

A recent update to the payment page was implemented in August 2025. Visual guides are available to help users navigate the new system. According to TREC, the process begins with an introductory page, followed by a series of questions. On the Payment Information page, users can enter an email address to receive a receipt; if left blank, no receipt will be sent.

Step-by-step images further illustrate how to select the required payment from the Quick Start Menu and answer subsequent questions before reaching the final confirmation and certification step. After these steps are completed, users proceed to the payment screen.

TREC advises that staff cannot accept financial information over the phone or make payments on behalf of users in order to maintain security standards. For additional support regarding online payments, individuals are encouraged to contact TREC directly.
