Registration has opened for the Texas Real Estate Commission’s (TREC) Legal Update I and II Instructor Training sessions. These in-person trainings are intended for instructors who plan to teach the 2026–2027 Legal Update I and II courses in various cities across Texas.

According to TREC, “This training is essential for any instructor who wants to remain eligible to teach these statutorily mandated courses. Only those who have successfully completed the updated training will be qualified to deliver Legal Update I and II content to TREC license holders.”

Those interested can visit registrations.trec.texas.gov to register for a session, learn about trainer backgrounds, view photos from previous events, and find more information about what the sessions entail.

The commission notes that space is limited and encourages early registration for those intending to teach during the next renewal cycle.
