The Texas Education Agency has published its 2025 Annual Report, detailing the state of public education for more than 5.5 million students and their teachers across Texas.
“Every day, educators, families and communities across Texas are working together to help students succeed,” said Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath. “This year’s Annual Report reflects that shared commitment and highlights the progress we are making to improve student achievement, support teachers and expand educational opportunities so that every Texas student, no matter their background, can reach their full potential.”
The report is designed as a resource for policymakers, educators, families, community members, and journalists. It presents statewide education trends and describes how the agency supports schools and works to improve student outcomes. The report also includes key performance data and identifies areas where further focus and investment are needed to provide all students with a high-quality education.
Additionally, the agency released the 2024-25 Pocket Edition alongside the main report. This compact version offers centralized access to statistics on public school demographics as well as teacher and staff information in one place.
Both documents are available on the agency’s website.
