Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock has announced updates to the TexStats Regional Data Dashboard. The dashboard now includes new data on median household incomes, gross domestic product by industry, and educational attainment levels.

The latest changes also add information about trade and infrastructure in Texas. Among the new features is a map from the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) that shows real-time locational prices for electricity across the state grid. These prices reflect the changing wholesale cost of electricity at different locations every five to 15 minutes.

“TexStats is about putting transparent, real-time economic data directly into the hands of Texans,” Hancock said. “When businesses, local leaders and families can clearly see how their communities are growing and where opportunities exist, they’re better positioned to invest, plan and create jobs. Transparency drives smarter decisions, and smarter decisions keep Texas the best state in the nation to live, work and do business.”

The dashboard brings together a variety of state, county, and regional statistics in one place that users can access easily online. People using the site can view data related to population growth, job trends, health care access, education levels, industry strength, and trade activity.

There are two main versions of TexStats dashboards: a statewide version introduced in January 2025 and this updated regional version launched in October 2025. Both are part of Hancock’s efforts to provide clearer insight into Texas’ economic status.

More details about the TexStats Regional Data Dashboard are available on the Comptroller’s website.
