Sika Corporation has announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations in Sealy, Texas. The project, recognized as a qualified initiative under the Texas Jobs, Energy, Technology, and Innovation (JETI) program, will focus on increasing production of PVC single-ply commercial roofing membranes in Austin County. The expansion represents an investment exceeding $90 million and is expected to create 60 new jobs.
The company will receive a Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $519,000 along with a $7,000 Veteran Created Job Bonus. TEF grants are performance-based incentives awarded to businesses that choose Texas over out-of-state locations for projects that generate new jobs and significant capital investment.

Sika’s increased investment aims to meet growing demand for commercial roofing materials while positioning the company closer to key metropolitan markets in the western and southern United States.
