San Antonio will offer a range of family-friendly Halloween events in 2025, with activities planned at local attractions including SeaWorld San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the San Antonio Zoo, Morgan’s Wonderland, and Natural Bridge Caverns.

SeaWorld San Antonio will hold its Halloween Spooktacular on select days from September 4 to November 2. The event will feature trick-or-treating, costumes, a maze with Spookley the Square Pumpkin, kid-friendly shows, and photo opportunities. Organizers describe the event as a daytime celebration suitable for young children and families.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas introduces Tricks & Treats as a new festival for 2025. This event is scheduled for select days between September 6 and November 2. Attractions include a Trick-or-Treat Trail with candy stations, live entertainment such as The Heebie Jeebies and Haunted Hollywood shows, autumn crafts, fall-themed foods and drinks, costume contests, and access to rides. The festival is designed to be non-scary and accessible for all ages.

Zoo Boo! at the San Antonio Zoo returns from September 20 through October 31 for its thirty-ninth year. Activities include eco-friendly trick-or-treat stations, live spider encounters in the new Spider House activation, Día de los Muertos Plaza décor updates, six new sugar skull animal sculptures with candy stations, themed realms like Scarecrow Station and Creepy Crawlers in NEOTROPICA, live entertainment, fall-themed food and beverages. Special events this year include Dog Day on October 9—when costumed dogs are invited—and extended hours until 9:00 p.m. on October 31.

Morgan’s Wonderland will host its More Delightful than Frightful Halloween Bash on select days from September 27 through October 31. Visitors can expect complimentary candy stations throughout the park, free face painting, Saturday costume contests with photo opportunities in an inclusive environment designed for accessibility.

Natural Bridge Caverns will celebrate the Annual Fall Cavern Bat Fest every weekend in October. The event highlights bat-related activities such as a mini-hay maze for children, free admission to AMAZEn’ Ranch Round-Up for guests wearing costumes appropriate for families, activity stations including Dress a Scarecrow experiences, scavenger hunts themed around bats, coloring pages for kids, performances by local musicians and fall- or bat-themed photo opportunities.

Organizers recommend purchasing tickets early since popular dates often sell out quickly during October weekends.

According to information available from Visit San Antonio Inc., most of these daytime events are stroller-friendly but crowds may increase during weekends; visitors are encouraged to check each venue’s policy ahead of time.
