The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced an extension for the registration deadline for its Retirees Education and Strategy Program (RESP), scheduled to take place at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland from September 21-26, 2025.

According to IAM, registrations must now be received by Monday, August 18, 2025.

The RESP program is organized by the IAM Retirees and Membership Assistance Department. It provides resources and education to retired and nearly retired members on issues that affect their lives. The program aims to equip retirees with skills and resources so they can assist others seeking help in areas such as organizing retiree clubs, understanding legislative strategies, navigating Social Security and Medicare programs, creating action plans for retiree clubs, participating in Alliance for Retired Americans activities, and recruiting volunteers among retired members.

“If you have any questions about this program, please contact the Retirees and Membership Assistance Department at 301-967-4717,” states the announcement.

For more information or to read the call letter regarding RESP registration details, interested individuals are encouraged to visit IAM’s official communications.
