Pushkin Industries has announced its fall 2025 programming lineup, which will include new original podcasts and the return of several established series. The company also revealed it is renewing its partnership with iHeartMedia, which will continue to serve as the exclusive sales and distribution partner for Pushkin’s catalog.
The slate features a range of storytelling projects. Malcolm Gladwell’s “Revisionist History” will present a limited series examining capital punishment in America through an Alabama case. Jonathan Goldstein’s “Heavyweight,” now part of Pushkin, returns with a new season. A true crime series titled “The Chinatown Sting” and Leon Neyfakh’s “Fiasco: Benghazi” are also set to debut.
On October 14, Pushkin will re-release Michael Lewis’s book “The Big Short” as an audiobook narrated by Lewis himself. He will also host a companion podcast series on “Against the Rules,” exploring how events from the book relate to current U.S. politics. This release coincides with the tenth anniversary of the film adaptation of “The Big Short.”
“This new slate of podcasts showcases the passion we have at Pushkin for the power of creative and premium audio storytelling,” said Pushkin CEO Gretta Cohn. “We are excited by what our dynamic roster of storytellers will bring to audiences as we continue building the future of audio — one story at a time.”
iHeartMedia will maintain its role in distributing and selling advertising for all Pushkin shows, including those in the upcoming slate. The two companies first partnered in November 2020 and plan to co-produce additional projects.
“Five years ago we were thrilled to partner with Malcom Gladwell and the team at Pushkin Industries, knowing that our platforms coming together would lead to innovation in a still-emerging field,” said Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts. “We’re so proud of what we’ve built together and as podcast listening continues to explode, we’re delighted to extend our partnership and create even more fantastic shows together.”
New details on individual programs include:
