Musician Norah Jones has partnered with iHeartPodcasts for the second season of her podcast, “Norah Jones is Playing Along.” The new season launches today and will feature weekly episodes available on Tuesdays. Listeners can access the show on the iHeartRadio app and other podcast platforms.

The podcast’s format remains focused on musical collaborations and conversations with guest artists. In each episode, Jones invites musicians to join her for live performances and discussions about their careers, creative processes, and inspirations. The second season begins with a double-episode premiere featuring Black Pumas members Eric Burton and Adrian Quesada, as well as country artist Margo Price.

Jones explained the purpose behind the show: “The most surprising and joyful things happen when music is shared in the moment — human to human, voice to voice, instrument to instrument,” said Jones. “This podcast is about making those connections in a way that’s intimate, spontaneous, and so much fun. I get to stretch my wings, and I always learn something from my guests — no matter how different our musical backgrounds are, whether they’re just starting out or they’ve been my heroes for years. It’s just people hanging out and playing tunes together in a room. Simple, yet magic!”

Norah Jones first gained international recognition with her 2002 album “Come Away With Me,” which won multiple GRAMMY Awards including Album of the Year. Over her career she has received ten GRAMMYs, sold more than 52 million albums globally, and achieved over ten billion streams of her songs worldwide. She has released several solo albums as well as collaborative projects with various bands.

The podcast originally launched in 2022 and continues to highlight candid interactions between Jones and other musicians through conversation and impromptu performances.
