iHeartPodcasts has announced a new original podcast, “Welcome to the Family with Telma and Kellie,” which will give listeners an inside look at the popular 1990s sitcom “Family Matters.” The show is hosted by Telma Hopkins, who played Aunt Rachel, and Kellie Williams, known for her role as Laura Winslow. Both hosts will discuss each episode of the series in order, share behind-the-scenes stories, and answer questions from listeners.

The podcast will feature guests from the original cast and crew, including Reginald VelJohnson (Carl Winslow), Shawn Harrison (Waldo Faldo), and producer Bob Boyett. In its first episode, Hopkins and Williams talk about their journeys to joining the cast, their favorite moments from filming the pilot episode, and details about that episode’s storyline.

Kellie Shanygne Williams began acting at age four in Washington D.C., eventually landing her breakout role on “Family Matters” through a home video audition filmed by her father. Her work on the sitcom earned her multiple award nominations and national recognition.

Telma Hopkins started her career as a singer with Tony Orlando and Dawn before moving into television comedy with roles on shows such as Bosom Buddies, Gimme a Break!, and Family Matters. She has received several NAACP Image Award nominations and a BET Comedy Award nomination. Her film credits include The Wood, Running Out of Time, and The Matrix Resurrections. Recently she appeared in projects like “Brewster’s Millions: Christmas,” Netflix’s “Dead To Me,” “Family Reunion,” “The Family Business,” soap opera “The Young and the Restless,” and is set to star in Amazon’s 2025 series “Clean Slate.”

“Welcome To The Family with Telma and Kellie” premieres November 5, 2025. New episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays across all major podcast platforms including iHeartRadio.
