iHeartPodcasts has announced the launch of a new original interview series, “Teen Beat,” hosted by Danielle Fishel. The show is set to premiere in January 2026, with an official trailer currently available.
Danielle Fishel, known for her role as Topanga Lawrence on the 1990s television show “Boy Meets World” and her recent appearance on Season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars,” will lead weekly interviews with celebrities. The series aims to explore guests’ formative years, discussing topics such as childhood experiences, fashion choices, and friendships.
The podcast continues the collaboration between Fishel and her husband Jensen Karp, who co-executive produce several shows for iHeartPodcasts. Their slate includes popular titles like “Pod Meets World,” which is nearing 50 million downloads and features co-hosts Will Friedle and Rider Strong. They also executive produce “How Rude, Tanneritos!” with Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin, as well as “Magical Rewind” with Friedle and Sabrina Bryan. Under their new agreement with iHeartPodcasts, they will exclusively develop additional projects for the platform.
Fishel commented on the partnership: “I have cherished my relationship with iHeart over the past three years and look forward to our newly minted future. Like only I have said, loudly in the hallways of their office: I am the new Ryan Seacrest.”
“Teen Beat” will be distributed by iHeartPodcasts as part of its Popworthy slate, which focuses on trending culture and nostalgia content.
The trailer can be accessed through the iHeartRadio app or wherever podcasts are available. Updates about the podcast can be found by following @daniellefishel and @teenbeatpod on Instagram.
