iHeartPodcasts and Novel have announced the launch of a new eight-part podcast series titled “The Girlfriends: Untouchable.” The series, which will be available on all major podcast platforms starting November 17, 2025, tells the story of a group of women who joined forces to expose police abuse and corruption in Kansas City, Kansas.
Hosted by Nikki Richardson and featuring Khadijah Hardaway and Niko Quinn, this season follows the case of Detective Roger Golubski. According to the announcement, Golubski allegedly targeted, threatened, and sexually abused Black women in the community for decades. The narrative centers on how these women worked together to bring attention to his actions after Niko Quinn witnessed her cousin’s murder.
