iHeartMedia and Unanimous Media have announced the launch of a new weekly podcast series, “Not My Best Moment,” hosted by comedian and author Kevin Fredericks, known as KevOnStage. The show will debut on November 12, 2025, with an episode featuring actress Issa Rae discussing her experiences with mistakes, growth, and resilience.
Each episode of the podcast will involve conversations between KevOnStage and various guests including athletes, entrepreneurs, and cultural figures. They will discuss personal setbacks and how those moments shaped their careers and lives. The aim is to provide a space where guests can reflect on their challenges while finding humor in hindsight.
Kevin Fredericks said: “I’ve made a career out of laughing at my own mistakes, so creating a space where people can do the same felt natural. ‘Not My Best Moment’ is about finding the humor in our hardest times and realizing we’re all just figuring it out as we go. The first episode features Issa Rae discussing her early career financial struggles as well as lessons learned from a failed pilot project. Other upcoming guests include Anthony “Spice” Adams, Yvette Nicole Brown, Tabitha Brown, Jemele Hill, Tony Baker, Yvonne Orji among others.
“Not My Best Moment” is part of the broader Unanimous Podcast Slate launched by iHeartMedia and Unanimous Media in 2025. Other shows in this slate include “G.O.T.E.” hosted by Seth Curry and Travonne Edwards as well as “Fudd Around And Find Out” hosted by Azzi Fudd and Ashanti Plummer.
Episodes will be available every Wednesday via the iHeartRadio app as well as other major podcast platforms. Video versions will also be released on YouTube.
