A new podcast from iHeartMedia, “No Grip,” is set to launch on March 4, 2026, offering listeners a look at the cultural side of Formula 1. The show is hosted by Lily Herman, known for her work on the Formula 1 culture newsletter “Engine Failure” and as a co-host of “Choosing Sides: F1,” which was nominated for an Ambie Award.

“No Grip” will explore various aspects of life surrounding Formula 1, including behind-the-scenes stories, scandals, and unique cultural phenomena. Episodes will cover topics such as the growth of F1 romance novels, a major event in 2023 referred to as WAGageddon, the case of a missing diamond at the Monaco Grand Prix, and even astrology related to drivers.

Lily Herman brings experience from both podcasting and journalism. She has written for publications like Teen Vogue, Glamour, Allure, Cosmopolitan, and ELLE. In addition to her past podcast projects with iHeartMedia and in the romance novel space, she continues to contribute to conversations about Formula 1’s broader impact.

The first episode will be available on race days starting March 4 through the iHeartRadio app and other podcast platforms. More information can be found at https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-no-grip-324786162.

“No Grip” aims to highlight the stories that happen off the track in one of motorsport’s most lucrative environments.
