iHeartMedia, in collaboration with the Martin Luther King III Foundation and Legacy+, has announced the launch of a new season of the “My Legacy” podcast. The season will debut on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, continuing its focus on exploring themes of purpose, responsibility, and impact in contemporary society.
The podcast is hosted by Martin Luther King III, Arndrea Waters King, Marc Kielburger, and Craig Kielburger. The opening episode features discussions about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with guests such as John Legend, Larry Wilmore, Laura Coates, Jemele Hill, and Martin Sheen. Each guest appears alongside someone close to them—such as a family member or mentor—to provide additional perspective on their experiences.
The series aims to encourage listeners to reflect on how inherited values influence daily actions and decisions. New episodes are scheduled for release every Tuesday.
“Legacy is not static,” said Martin Luther King III. “It demands participation. It requires us to show up with courage, humility, and a willingness to serve something larger than ourselves.”
Arndrea Waters King stated: “Legacy is not something we preserve. It’s something we practice. This season is about the everyday choices that shape who we become and how we show up for one another—especially when the work is uncomfortable or unseen.”
Marc Kielburger described the podcast as a forum for deeper conversation: “In a world that rewards speed and outrage, My Legacy makes room for something rarer: reflection, asking better questions about who we are becoming and the responsibility that comes with influence, leadership, and love.”
Craig Kielburger added: “Legacy is built through the quiet, daily choices no one is watching.”
Previous seasons have included interviews with figures such as Gloria Steinem, Tiffany Haddish, Dr. Vivek Murthy, Brittney Griner, Sophia Bush, Rev. Michael Beckwith, Simon Sinek, Deepak Chopra, Mel Robbins, Dave Asprey, Billy Porter and Jay Shetty.
This upcoming season will feature guests including Bryan Stevenson, Natalie Portman, Jurnee Smollett, Dr. Gabor Maté and Zarna Garg among others.
“My Legacy” aligns with the ‘Realize the Dream’ initiative—a campaign inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of unity and justice—that encourages Americans to collectively complete 100 million hours of service before what would have been Dr. King’s 100th birthday in 2029 (https://www.realizethedream.org/). In support of this goal during 2025 iHeart awarded a $5 million Spotlight Media Grant to ‘Realize the Dream’ to inspire nationwide community service efforts.
iHeartMedia plans to continue supporting ‘Realize the Dream’ in 2026 through expanded outreach designed to increase listener engagement across its platforms.
The “My Legacy” podcast can be accessed via iHeartPodcasts on the iHeartRadio app as well as other major podcast services.
