Charlamagne Tha God will continue his partnership with iHeartMedia under a new multi-year agreement, the company announced. The deal ensures that Charlamagne remains a central figure on “The Breakfast Club,” which airs weekdays from 6-10:00 a.m. EST, as well as on “Weekends with The Breakfast Club.” He co-hosts these programs alongside DJ Envy, Jess Hilarious, and Loren LoRosa.

“The Breakfast Club” marks its 15th anniversary this month. Over its history, it has become known for high-profile interviews with figures such as Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Jay-Z, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar, Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, Future, 50 Cent, Lizzo, Will Smith and Alicia Keys. In addition to daily broadcasts focused on Hip-Hop/R&B culture and news topics relevant to listeners nationwide, the team hosts a weekend program featuring music countdowns and interviews.

iHeartMedia also confirmed continued collaboration with Charlamagne on The Black Effect Podcast Network—a joint venture launched in 2020 aimed at Black listeners. Curated by Charlamagne himself since its inception in 2020,the network features over 60 shows generating more than 11 million monthly downloads from prominent voices discussing social justice issues along with pop culture topics.Earlier this year, “The Breakfast Club” replay podcast surpassed one billion downloads.
Charlamagne was represented in negotiations by Ted Chervin at CAA; legal counsel was provided by Loan Dang of Del Shaw Moonves Tanaka Finkelstein Lezcano Bobb & Dang; financial advice came from Humble Lukanga and Laura Rutebuka of Lifeline Financial Group; Karen Kinney of KK Entertainment & Media partnered closely throughout development of the agreement.
