iHeartMedia and the Empire State Building have announced a special holiday event called the “iHeartRadio Holiday Pop Up Party with Pentatonix.” The event will feature a music-to-light show at the Empire State Building, which was recently recognized as New York City’s top attraction for the fourth year in a row by Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travelers Choice Awards.
The celebration, hosted by Cubby from iHeartRadio New York 106.7 Lite FM, will be broadcast nationwide on December 19 across iHeartRadio stations. GRAMMY Award-winning group Pentatonix will headline the event, flipping the light switch to start a synchronized music and light display atop the building. The show will feature their duet with Frank Sinatra, “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm.”
The event includes a live performance by Pentatonix, an interview with Cubby, and a fan Q&A session held on the 80th floor of the Empire State Building Observatory.
A special 10-minute broadcast of the event will air on all iHeartRadio Holiday flip stations nationwide on December 19 at 9 p.m. local time (6:50 p.m. ET in New York City) and on the iHeartChristmas Pop digital station at 9 p.m. ET.
Additionally, New York iHeartRadio stations Z100, 103.5 KTU, and 106.7 Lite FM will play “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm” synced to the building’s light show every night from December 19 through December 25 at 7 p.m. ET.
Pentatonix’s new album “Christmas in the City” is now available through Republic Records. Their Christmas in the City Tour concludes in Fort Worth, Texas on December 22.
