Members of IAM Local SC 711 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with M1 Support Services and its subcontractors. The contract, which takes effect on January 1, 2026, covers workers in 29 skilled trades, including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians.
The agreement provides for an 11.4% compounded general wage increase over the contract’s duration: 4.5% in the first year, followed by 3.5% and then 3%. It also includes increased paid leave with an additional eight hours of sick leave for all members, a 5% increase in 401(k) contributions, maintained IAM pension benefits, and an extra $390 per month earned during the contract period. Other provisions address company-paid increases in the rehab plan as well as new on-call and standby pay measures and language to protect overtime pay.

I thank the committee for their efforts, our members for standing strong, and IAM Aerospace Coordinator Denise Heath, whose expertise and steady guidance were key to securing this strong agreement.”

IAM Local SC 711 became an independent local union in 2016 after previously being part of another local based more than 25 miles away. Members formed their own local chapter to better represent their specific needs on site.
