The 2025 IAM International President’s Classic golf tournament was held at Fox Ridge Golf Club in Auburn, Maine, and raised over $150,000 for the Maine Museum of Innovation, Learning and Labor (Maine MILL). The event brought together members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), labor allies, and supporters from across North America.

According to IAM International President Brian Bryant, “This event is about honoring the history of working people and giving back to the communities that raised us. Supporting Maine MILL means preserving the stories of the working class. As someone who grew up in Maine, this cause is close to my heart, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished together.”

Dozens of teams participated in the charity golf tournament. The day included raffles, giveaways, and speeches from leaders within both IAM and Maine MILL. Attendees represented various groups from the labor movement in support of Maine MILL, which is located in Lewiston, Maine.

Rachel Ferrante, Executive Director of Maine MILL, said, “This incredible show of support from International President Bryant and the IAM Union will help us continue preserving and celebrating the legacy of Maine’s workers. We’re so grateful to everyone who participated and donated. Your generosity is making history.”

Funds raised at this year’s tournament are being directed toward rehabilitating Maine MILL’s former Camden Yarns Mill site as well as constructing an addition to serve as its permanent home. Construction has already started on this project with an opening planned for summer 2026. Once complete, the museum will include permanent collections, temporary galleries, a classroom space, a children’s area, and a design lab aimed at fostering education and community engagement.

The tournament drew sponsorship from more than 50 organizations. Gold sponsors included several branches of IAM such as its International President’s Office; Eastern Territory; District 4; Local S6; Jones Granger Law Firm; and Employee Benefit Systems Inc. Silver sponsors featured additional IAM territories including Canadian Territory; Air Transport Territory; Southern Territory; Midwest Territory; Western Territory; Rail Division; Local 4; District 142 as well as companies like National Group Protection; American Income Life; Met Life Investment Management; and The Kelly Companies.
