The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has extended the registration deadline for its 2025 Retirees Conference. The event is scheduled for October 20-22, 2025, at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Participants now have until Monday, September 15, 2025, to register for both the conference and hotel accommodations.

The conference will follow the theme “Leaders and Legends,” which aims to recognize the work of IAM retirees while encouraging ongoing engagement within the union. According to organizers, attendees will include current and future retirees from across North America who will gather to build community and discuss strategies for increasing retiree involvement.

“This gathering is more than just a conference; it is also a celebration of solidarity and strength. Retirees and future retirees from across North America will come together to build community, share experiences, and strategize on how to elevate retiree engagement within our union.”

Conference activities will feature guest speakers, breakout sessions designed to prompt discussion among members, and opportunities for networking with fellow IAM members who have contributed to the organization’s history. A special tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is planned as part of the program on Wednesday, October 22.

“You can expect dynamic guest speakers, thought-provoking breakout sessions, and the opportunity to connect with fellow IAM members who have helped shape our proud history. As a highlight of the event, we’ll take a special tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday, Oct. 22. This will be an experience you won’t want to miss.”

IAM encourages interested participants to register by September 15 in order to secure their place at this year’s conference.
