IAM District 160 organized a fundraising event at Topgolf in Renton, Washington, bringing together over 100 members, families, and supporters. The event raised more than $30,000 for Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC), the charity supported by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM).

The fundraiser included golf games, bingo, raffle prizes, and a silent auction. All proceeds will support GDA | TLC’s work providing trained service dogs free of charge to people who are blind or visually impaired, veterans, and children with autism.

“The IAM’s commitment to Guide Dogs of America goes back decades,” said IAM Western Territory General Vice President Robert “Bobby” Martinez. “Our members have always answered the call to give back, and this fundraiser is another example of the compassion and strength that defines our union family.”

The event was led by IAM District 160 Business Representative Zac Collins. Organizers credit his dedication as key to the success of the fundraiser.

IAM has consistently supported GDA | TLC as its chosen charity. This recent effort contributes to a longstanding tradition in which IAM members have collectively raised millions for the organization over several years.
