IAM District 142 recently organized its second annual charity golf tournament at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix. The event was held to raise funds for Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines, a long-standing charitable partner of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM).

The fundraiser included competitive games and prize donations, with all proceeds directed toward supporting the training and placement of service dogs. These services benefit visually impaired individuals, veterans living with PTSD, and autistic children. Importantly, all assistance provided by Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines is offered at no cost to recipients.

Staff members from Guide Dogs of America attended the event with puppies currently in training. They shared their enthusiasm about both the cause and the fundraising results achieved during the tournament.
