Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Wil Faubel, Stephanie Johnson, and Rick Mora, M.D. to the San Jacinto River Authority Board of Directors. Their new terms will run until October 16, 2029. The San Jacinto River Authority is responsible for managing and protecting water resources in the San Jacinto River basin.

Wil Faubel, from Montgomery, serves as senior business development and corporate advisor at Novomet USA Inc. He has over forty years of experience in the oilfield services industry, including both domestic and international roles. Faubel is a lifelong member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and previously served on the board of the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association. He is also involved with the Lake Conroe Association. Faubel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.

Stephanie Johnson, also from Montgomery, is retired after a career in industrial engineering and operations with UPS. She was formerly an executive search director at Richard, Wayne & Roberts. Johnson currently leads several community organizations: she is president of the Ladies Association of Walden, treasurer for Walden Section 5 Homeowners Association, secretary for Walden Community Improvement Association, an act director with Walden Follies, and volunteers with Love Heals Youth and the Walden Social Network. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lamar University.

Rick Mora, M.D., from Spring, works as an anesthesiologist and transitional medical director for Envision Health. He previously served as chief of anesthesiology at Memorial Hermann Hospital of the Woodlands. Mora is affiliated with both state and national anesthesiology societies and has held leadership positions such as chairing the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and helping found Los Doctores de The Woodlands nonprofit organization. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Spanish Literature and pre-medicine before earning his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Mora is a military veteran who served eight years combined in both Army National Guard and Texas National Guard.
