Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Gwen Griffin to the Texas Space Commission Board of Directors. Her new term will last until February 1, 2031.

Griffin is the chief executive officer of Griffin Communications Group, a national firm that provides strategic communications and marketing services to the aerospace and technology sectors. She also serves on the Space Center Houston Board of Directors, is a trustee for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, and is a member of the College of Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Griffin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from UCF.
