Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Brett Flagg to the Texas Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors. Flagg’s new term will last until July 1, 2031. The Texas Mutual Insurance Company is responsible for providing workers’ compensation insurance to employers in Texas and serves as an insurer of last resort. The company also works to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
Brett Flagg is an attorney based in Frisco and owns Flagg Law Group, PC in Dallas. He has been a member of the Texas Bar Association for 40 years. In addition to his legal career, Flagg serves on several boards, including e3 Partners Ministry, Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, and Insight for Living Ministries. He previously chaired the Board of Trustees at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison.
Flagg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from Baylor University, as well as a Master of Laws from Georgetown University School of Law.
