Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Scott Charbonneau to the Texas Interagency Council for the Homeless. Charbonneau will serve on the council for a term that lasts at the discretion of the Governor. The council is responsible for coordinating state resources and services aimed at addressing homelessness.

Scott Charbonneau, who lives in Hurst, is currently president and CEO of Cornerstone Assistance Network. He also serves as a deacon at First Baptist Church in Hurst. Charbonneau holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Baylor University.

The Governor’s office, according to its official website, leads executive functions for Texas, with priorities including economic development, education improvement, border security, and support for community initiatives.
