Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Marsha Moberley to the Interstate Commission for Adult Offender Supervision. Her term will last at the discretion of the Governor. The Commission is responsible for setting uniform procedures that manage how offenders under community supervision move between states. It oversees individuals released to communities by courts, paroling authorities, and other criminal justice agencies.
Marsha Moberley, who resides in Lakeway, serves as board chair and is a former commissioner of the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles. She brings more than 28 years of experience in criminal justice. Previously, she was Chief Probation Officer for Deaf Smith and Oldham counties. Moberley is a member of several professional organizations including the Association of Paroling Authorities International and the American Probation and Parole Association. She also served as chair of both the Advisory Board of the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission and the Panhandle Chief Probation Officers Association. Moberley holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University.
