J. Brian Williams has been appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve as Judge of the 503rd Judicial District Court in Rockwall County. The appointment will take effect on December 1, 2025, and will last until December 31, 2026, or until a successor is elected and qualified.

Williams is currently the Rockwall County Court at Law Judge. He has served as both a member and past president of the Rockwall County Bar Association and the Rockwall Rotary Club. In addition to these roles, he is vice president of the Rockwall County Open Space Alliance and is also a member of both the State Bar of Texas and the Texas County Court at Law Judges Association.

Williams earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
