Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Clinton “Clint” Davis as Judge of the 173rd Judicial District Court in Henderson County. Davis will serve until December 31, 2026, or until a successor is elected and qualified.

Davis is currently the county attorney in Henderson County. He holds memberships with the State Bar of Texas, the Federalist Society, and the Henderson County Bar Association. His community involvement includes serving as a board member and vice president of Family Circle of Care, board president of the Family Peace Project, Inc., and being a member of Kiwanis International.

Davis earned his Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Tyler and received his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston.
