Crystal Reneé Hayslett brings podcast “Keep It Positive, Sweetie” to Black Effect Network

Actress and producer Crystal Reneé Hayslett has announced that her talk series, “Keep It Positive, Sweetie,” will now be available on The Black Effect Podcast Network, a joint venture between Charlamagne Tha God and iHeartMedia. The podcast’s new season began with an episode featuring entrepreneur and singer Kandi Burruss. Listeners can access episodes every Sunday on the iHeartRadio app and on other podcast platforms starting the following Tuesday.

The announcement was made during Hayslett’s appearance on Power 105.1FM’s The Breakfast Club. Known to fans as “KIPS,” the show features conversations with figures in entertainment about topics such as growth, healing, spirituality, love, and faith. Hayslett serves as executive producer alongside Ashaunna K. Ayars and Wes Lawrence.

“Joining The Black Effect Podcast Network is a meaningful moment for me,” said Hayslett. “KIPS is all about bringing comfort and empowerment to our culture, and I’m honored to welcome my community into this incredible family dedicated to amplifying the powerful conversations that take place on the KIPS couch.”

Since its launch in 2023, “Keep It Positive, Sweetie” has received over 11 million YouTube views through solo episodes with Hayslett and interviews with guests from various fields. Hayslett has also hosted two sold-out live shows under the KIPS brand and participated in events such as BET Experience, Woman Evolve Conference, and McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Sunday.

The Black Effect Podcast Network was founded by Charlamagne Tha God in partnership with iHeartMedia to highlight Black voices across education, entertainment, politics, pop culture, and sports.
