CPS Energy offices to close January 19 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

CPS Energy has announced that its offices, call center, and customer service centers will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Normal operations are scheduled to resume at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20.

During the closure, customers who need to report emergency natural gas or electric issues can do so by calling (210) 353-HELP (4357). Online services remain available through cpsenergy.com.

Customers can continue to manage their accounts online at any time using the Manage My Account portal. Available services include starting, stopping or transferring service; making payment arrangements; setting up payment plans; reconnecting services after paying past-due bills; signing up for emergency alerts; and updating contact information.

With winter weather expected soon, CPS Energy is encouraging customers to sign up for Energy Alerts by updating their emergency contact information in Manage My Account or by calling (210) 353-2222.

The company reports that its combined energy bills are among the lowest compared to other large U.S. cities and has generated $10.1 billion in revenue for the City of San Antonio since 1942.
