CPS Energy has announced that its offices, call center, and customer service centers will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular operations will resume at 7:45 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Customers experiencing emergency natural gas or electric issues during the closure are advised to call (210) 353-HELP (4357). CPS Energy also reminds customers that online services remain available through cpsenergy.com. Through the Manage My Account portal, customers can manage tasks such as starting or stopping service, making payment arrangements or plans, reconnecting services after paying overdue bills, signing up for emergency alerts, and updating contact information.

CPS Energy is promoting its Wi-Fi Thermostat Rewards Program during the holiday season. Additional details about participation are available on their official webpage.

According to CPS Energy, it serves over 970,000 electric and 390,000 natural gas customers in San Antonio and surrounding counties. The company states that combined energy bills for its customers are among the lowest compared to other major U.S. cities and notes it has generated $10.1 billion in revenue for the City of San Antonio since 1942. CPS Energy highlights its focus on job creation, economic development, educational investment, and community engagement through employee volunteerism.
