iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God have announced the fourth annual Black Effect Podcast Festival, which will take place on April 25 at Pullman Yards in Atlanta. The event is designed to highlight and support Black voices in the podcast industry, offering live podcast tapings and discussions for aspiring podcasters within the Black community.

Charlamagne Tha God will host the festival alongside DJ Envy of The Breakfast Club and Loren LoRosa, who hosts “The Latest with Loren LoRosa Podcast.” Tickets will be available starting March 12 at noon Eastern Time. Additional details about ticket pricing and the lineup can be found at blackeffect.com/podcastfestival.

“Each year we return to Atlanta with purpose and intention to amplify storytelling, champion community, and celebrate excellence in podcasting with thousands of our cousins from around the world,” said Charlamagne Tha God.

The festival will include several panel discussions such as “AI: The Evolution and The Future,” “The Gen-Z Movement,” an audio and media development panel, among others. Notable guests scheduled to participate include Carlos King, host of “Reality With The King,” finance expert Ian Dunlap, and more.

“We celebrate and uplift the power of Black voices, creating space for creators to inspire, connect and shape culture,” said Dollie S. Bishop, President of The Black Effect Podcast Network. “From conversations on AI and investing to the future of audio, we’re bringing the culture together for connection, innovation and a few surprises.”

Last year’s festival drew thousands of fans for live recordings from top shows like “Woman Evolve with Sarah Jakes Roberts,” “The Trap Nerds,” “Good Moms, Bad Choices” and others. This year’s full lineup has not yet been announced.

Attendees can also participate in activities such as the “Pitch Your Podcast” Booth or visit The Black Effect Marketplace featuring merchandise from Black-owned businesses as well as local food trucks.

Launched in September 2020 by Charlamagne Tha God in partnership with iHeartMedia, The Black Effect Podcast Network now features over 60 shows—including 47 live shows—covering topics ranging from social justice to pop culture. The network aims to provide a platform for both emerging and established content creators whose perspectives have often been overlooked.

State Farm is presenting this year’s festival. Special student ticket pricing will be offered.
