Alamo Colleges District details limited student services during winter break closure

The Alamo Colleges District (ACD) has announced its schedule and services for the upcoming 2025 Winter Break. The district will close starting Monday, December 22, 2025, and regular operations will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.

During the break, each college within the district will offer limited services to assist students. The Student Contact Center will be available for questions related to applications, financial aid status, account balances, payment plans, and other general information. Students can reach the center at 210-212-5266 during specific hours: December 22 and 23 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., December 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., December 29 and 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and January 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center will be closed on December 24, 25, December 31, and January 1.

For mental health support over the holidays, students are encouraged to download the TimelyCare app for free access to self-care resources and virtual visits with licensed providers using their student.alamo.edu email address.

Limited virtual services through the ACCESS Welcome Center will be available on Friday, December 26; Monday, December 29; and Tuesday, December 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students can access these services via Zoom at https://alamo.zoom.us/j/95541785767.

AlamoONLINE will provide limited enrollment services for online learners at all five colleges on Monday, December 29 and Tuesday, December 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., accessible by phone at (210) 485–0110 or by email at AlamoONLINE@alamo.edu.

Each of the five colleges—Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, San Antonio College, and St. Philip’s College—will offer limited in-person and virtual services on Friday, December 26; Monday, December 29; and Tuesday, December 30 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Services provided include advising; admissions and records; advocacy; veterans’ assistance; student success support; financial aid; business office functions; welcome centers; enrollment and registration help; drop-in registration/advising (at St. Philip’s); as well as testing (at St. Philip’s). Each college has specified locations where in-person assistance is available such as Brazos Student Union at Northeast Lakeview College or Desert Willow Welcome Center at Northwest Vista College. Virtual service links are provided for those who prefer remote support.
